Earn Smart Trips Commuter Rewards by driving less. Benefit the environment, and save on gas, parking, vehicle maintenance and insurance costs.

Win Prizes!

Log 30 or more days of Smart Trips in a quarter and you could win a $100 gift card. We choose 3 winners every quarter.
Log 10 or more days of Smart Trips in a month and you could win a $50 gift card. We choose 4 winners every month.
Be profiled in our Commuter Close Up and receive a $50 gift card. This Commuter is periodically chosen by Smart Trips personnel or from nominations submitted by participants.

Earn Commuter Rewards!

Carpool, vanpool, bike, take the bus, walk to work or work from home at least 5 days a month each quarter.
Make your commutes during the quarterly eligibility periods which run from January to March, April to June, July to September, October to December.
Log your trips online by the deadline – the 15th of the month following the end of a quarter.
Choose rewards through our online system – also by the deadline – the 15th of the month following the end of a quarter.
Verify that your mailing address is correct at the time your reward is selected. Notify Smart Trips of address changes. (Smart Trips is not responsible for rewards that are lost in the mail.)
Notify Smart Trips by phone, 215-2916, or email, smarttrips@knoxtrans.org of any problems you have with logging commutes or choosing rewards BEFORE the deadline.

How much can I get?

Earn a $5 gift card for 5 days of trips a month each quarter. (15 roundtrips or 30 points)
Earn a $10 gift card for 10 days of trips a month each quarter. (30 roundtrips or 60 points)
Earn two $10 gift cards for 20 trips a month each quarter. (60 roundtrips or 120 points)
Limit two $10 gift cards per participant per quarter.

If you earn more than 120 points in a quarter they can’t be carried forward towards gift cards in subsequent quarters. Only two adults (aged 16 and older) per household are eligible to earn gift cards.

When will I get my Commuter Rewards or prizes?
Commuter Rewards and Quarterly prizes are mailed out by the end of the month following the end of a quarter. Monthly prizes are mailed by the end of the month in which they are awarded.
